What does clean and massage data tables for excel mean?

It sounds like they want you to be able to go into an existing Excel Data Table and clean up any odd or incorrect data before you convert to some new software (Ntools). Massaging is just a way of saying “Manipulate the data” until there are no mistakes to carry into Ntools.
Yep. They just want you to double check the information to make sure there are no typos or user-errors before INTools starts to analyze it. INTools is a highly sophisticated analysis suite. But it has the same basic flaw that all analysis programs have “Garbage In Garbage Out”. They just need you to proofread the raw data.
