Question by $Money$: I want to set up a hot rock treatment for my friend, what should I buy, and how should I heat the rocks?
Should I buy rocks or just pick some up? I live near a stream so maybe there is some good rocks there. I also need to know how to heat them for a relaxing massage. I don’t want to spend more then or nothing would be the best. :)

Gather some rocks and wash them with soap. You want good size rocks. Then turn the shower or sink to hot and wait fot it to get hot. do this right before your friend comes. Then put the rocks in the hot water and when your friend comes test the temperature. Do the treatment. Think about what kind of massae you would like. Don’t buy rocks. Also, a bubble bath is nice. I did this so I know it works.

okay.. first, you have to learn how to do the massage, this can be done by gong to a massage table in a community lot and clicking on it, (there has to be a masseuse there)choosing learn to, or something liek that.
Once you’ve learn’t it, your sim can perform the massage using only the massage table and no other table.

Q&A: For massage therapists: What is the best way to heat massage oil and keep it hot.?

Question by Dave: For massage therapists: What is the best way to heat massage oil and keep it hot.?
I want to use hot oil for Swedish massage. I can heat the oil in water on the stove, but this is inconvenient. My kitchen is not anywhere near my massage area. I have seen commercial warmers for massage oil bottles on-line, but they are expensive (0 for a three-bottle warmer). I have tried a baby bottle warmer and a cup-warming plate, but they don’t get hot enough. This is for personal use for my wife and me, so I don’t want to spend a lot of money. Additionally, what is the best way to heat and keep basalt rocks for massage warm? What do you massage therapists out there use or recommend?

It seems like you’ve tried everything to keep your oil hot. If you are planning to use this alot, I think that in the long run it would be better to a commercial warmer from online. To keep the basalt rocks warm, boil a lot hot water. Then put it in a basin and put the rocks in. Make sure it’s REALLY hot. When it starts to cool down, remove the hot rocks and get another basin of hot water. Put the rocks in there to keep them hot. You can carry the basin to where ever you want it.
