I didn’t want to make learning massage into a complicated process. I wanted something that would get me started painlessly and quickly. This beautifully conceived book did just that. First of all, the photography is breathtaking. I don’t think I’ve seen its equal anywhere. But the really great thing about the book is the way it teaches you how to do a full body massage. If you haven’t had such an experience you really owe it to yourself to change that. And this is a terrific experience to share between lovers. But lover or friend, every one of the massages I’ve given since I got the book has received rave reviews. The many tips on how to intensify the experience all work as promised. There’s no “hype” here. I also appreciated the condensed style of writing with instructions that really do focus on the essentials.
My favorite part of the book was the wonderful back massage. I often start there when I do massage and go on to other parts of the body later. The techniques are powerful and couldn’t be explained any better.
Thumbs way up on this book! It’s in a league of it’s own and I love it! I have both the paper and Kindle versions.

Sensual Massage Made Simple is a wonderful book in a number of ways.
First and foremost, Sensual Massage Made Simple is a great way to introduce yourself or a loved one to massage. Many people believe that massage is a difficult art to practice, something that can take years to master, but Gordon Inkeles, in Sensual Massage Made Simple, has proven them wrong again. I’ve never practiced massage previously, but after reading this book, I feel comfortable giving massages to my friends and family. Of course no book is a replacement for practice, but Sensual Massage Made Simple does a great job at teaching you what you need to know to get started and at answering the many technical questions that come up during your first few sessions.
One thing to note is that, even though the book is marketed toward sensual massage, the strokes it teaches you are fundamental massage strokes that will work for any kind of massage.
In addition to the great instructions, the book itself is stunning. This is simply Gordon Inkeles’s most beautiful book to date; it’s also his first book printed in all color (although it does have some fantastic B&W photography in it). The photographs he’s chosen are truly works of art, and the printing quality is exceptional. It even goes great on a coffee table as an art book (as long as your guests aren’t offended by some tasteful nudity).
Overall, Sensual Massage Made Simple is wonderful massage book for beginners and it makes a great romantic gift. I highly recommend it.

Everything is covered here, from techniques through massaging each and every part of the body. And, each and every page includes an illustrative picture, showing you just what you need to do.
Now, sensual massage is a decidedly sexual activity, so do not be surprised that the pictures in this book include naked people. The pictures are all tastefully done, and are of an R-rated, rather than X-rated, type.
This is a very nice book, and a great resource. If you really want to treat your lover, lay him or her down, and use the techniques you learned in this book to provide an experience that neither of you will ever forget.
