Shiatsu was developed in Japan and is classified nowadays as an alternative medicine. How was it classified as such? As with acupuncture they provide medical benefits as they help relieve pain – the same as with shiatsu and other form of massage therapy.
Shiatsu is a method by which pressure is directed to specific parts of the body in order to achieve a specific result – One that can be surmised as soothing and relaxing. If you intend to experience this type of massage it is suggested that you go to an authentic if not certified shiatsu massage parlor so as to ensure that you get the benefits of this age old massage.
It might cost you a few bucks or so but the relief this will give after a 30-minute or one hour of such therapy then you feel rejuvenated and more than willing to tackle new challenges in life.
There are a number of these shiatsu massage parlors across the globe. The fact the you can find this in virtually every city in the world testifies to the efficacy it provides to its clients again the emphasis is in authentic and certified shiatsu massage parlor.
Spa is one area you might find this type of massage – the environment is different compared to that of the conventional massage parlor but this comes with a premium as well.
But such premium is worth paying for anyway. So that should not stop you from taking that once a month experience or every 15 days experience – depending on how often you can afford it but not to be done regularly like every other day or weekly even if you can afford it. This must still be done in moderation
