Should I be fully nude, or can I leave my underwear on. What are the limits of touch? What should and shouldn’t the therapist massage? And should I tip?

You do take off all your clothes but, a sheet is placed over you. The massage therapist are very discreet and you can asked to be massaged over the sheet if you are really embarrassed.

When it comes to a massage, RELAX. If you dont do that you wont enjoy it. Inform the therapist of the points that you would like worked on during the massage and they will primarily focus on those. The more times you go to the same person, the more comfortable you will feel with them touching you.

Basically, a full body massage is just what it says – with the exception of massage of the sexual organs…that’s illegal and constitutes sexual assault. When you arrive for your massage, the therapist will tell you how much of your clothing to remove. Ask when you call for your appointment whether tipping is expected. In those establishments where it is the usual thing to do, 20 percent of the final bill is appropriate – in other words, if the price for your massage were $25.00, then a proper tip would be $5.00.

Expect HEAVEN!. You can leave your underwear on, and your bra if you really want to. They cover you with a sheet. You can ask for a woman–but men havve stronger hands and a really good massage:-)

You’ll want to be fully undressed including rings, ear rings, etc.

If you have any clothes on, the massage won’t be nearly as good…you’ll be cheating yourself. You should be covered with a sheet except for the body part the therapist is working on at that time.

Yes, you should definitely tip. Tipping is for personal service and there is nothing more of a personal service than a massage. Five dollars is a good starting point. If it’s an amazing massage, then ten dollars.

    Good luck.

PS. I’ve never done a full body massage without massaging the hip muscles. They are some of the thickest and important muscles to work on in order to help the client feel thoroughly relaxed. There’s nothing sexual about throwing my weight into the hip muscles.

I also massaged the chest muscles in men and women. The focus is on the muscles, and the touch is not sexual. You couldn’t touch the fatty breast tissue with the ‘strength’ that is used on the chest muscles.

I tell my patients to get as undressed as they are comfortable. Then I inform them that most people just strip to their undies. I have found that many people are fine going nude under the sheet.

In the state of Ohio, genitals are never touched. Female breasts can be massaged if the therapist is certified in Breast Massage. The buttocks can be massaged if permission is given by the patient. I’ve never been prohibited by a patient from giving gluteal massage. But if you are uncomfortable with it, speak up. Any professional, ethical therapist will stop immediately.

The issue of tipping is sticky. I don’t accept tips because I consider myself a medical professional providing health care.I bill insurance and worker’s compensation. You don’t tip your physician, why tip your massage therapist? If your massage is for relaxation and/or a part of a beauty package I think tipping is appropriate. I believe the rate is around 20 percent.

I think it’s wonderful you are considering massage. I hope you have a wonderful experience!

If you are uncomfortable they will usually let you keep your underware on. They are very professional about it in any way. They do not see your butt at all or full frontal nudity. When you flip over they hold up the blanket high where they do not see and you turn over and cover up the personal areas. They are usually not suppose to touch the butt what so ever and they are not to touch above the thigh or below the shoulder. So the whole trunk of the body should be covered. The best therapeutic massage is the hot stone massage. It does wonders for the lymph glands and they use the rocks only instead of their bare hands.

Most importantly do what is comfortable to you. If you would like to leave your undergarments on due so you will have a sheet to cover you. A professional massage therapist will never touch you inappropriatly. Dont be afraid to get referrences and recommendations and check there credentials. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or this information is not readily given to you run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me first tell you that massage therapists are all trained to be professional and aware of people’s comfort and insecurity when giving a massage.

We use drapings (sheets) to cover your body and only reveal the legs, arms, and back when working on these particular areas. At no time should a therapist ever reveal your private areas during a massage.

You can go in however you want. It is better to be nude under the sheets so it is a better experience for you. I think that whatever you feel most comfortable in, is what is going to keep you relaxed. Sometimes I leave my underwear on because sometimes I just don’t feel like being buck naked.

Most important thing to do is to relax… fall asleep if you want!

If you enjoyed your massage… yes by all means please tip your therapist. If it was a complete and utter horror then no… of course not.

I hope your experience goes well.
