medicalmassage-ceu.com Chest massage is important part of the full body massage procedure. Of course on womans breast we dont apply pressure. In fact we cannot massage breast, in a manner how we mobilize other tissue. This is not only because of the professional ethics, but because breast is an active gland and we should be pretty careful. But its important to massage muscular structure around the breast, sternum, periosteum, in spaces between ribs, etc. In case of man it is all muscular structure and you can massage the entire chest area. The Medical Massage protocols were developed in the countries of the Former Soviet block countries. Development and testing of these methods were conducted by many scientific institutions, used for only elite Olympian athletes and were kept in strict secret. The reason for this secrecy was that during the time of the Cold War, Olympic Games and World championships were the only opportunity for West and East to meet and compare their lifestyles. Therefore frequent wins of athletes of the Soviet block countries were used by the Soviet propaganda as a proof of advantages of the Soviet political system and Soviet way of life compared to their Western counterparts. Dear gussinajninen
Thank you very much for so nice comment. Most important for me is to know that this worked for you.
Actually statistically in 95% of self applications this methodology is working.
Best wishes.
Boris
Thanks Boris, you are always so professional and this actually worked on myself.
Opps sorry I meant plantar fasciitis. I’v tried every thing but the only thing that seems to help is massage, but I don’t have time to go into PT all of the time, so a self massage DVD would be great.
Do you mean pf atherosclerosis?
If there is a self Massage DVD that address PF, i would be very interested in buying that.
Dear Alan,
Sorry for your inconvenience. We are in a process of many changes and just a little overwhelmed with amount of work. Very soon Boris will produce a special lesson devoted to plantar fasciitis.
Best Regards
Michael
Dear Dr. Prilutsky,
Thank you for posting this. It is very helpful. Is there any way you can re-post your video clip on plantar fasciitis, which was recently taken down? I have occasional episodes of PF and your video demonstration was the most helpful source I could fine, and of course, relaxing to watch. Not sure why it was taken down, but if it can be reposted, it would be much appreciated.
Best,
Alan
Massage therapy is not only energy exchange and it is scientifically and clinically proven. that self massage is very beneficial.
Best Wishes
Boris
Dear pippingsam,
For quality stress management it is recommended to receive stress management massage at least twice a week. My DVD is for people who cannot afford twice a week “must do” treatment. Sometimes, my proposed self massage could be more effective than one provided by a massage therapist who offer only relaxation treatment instead of stress management massage. to be continued….
Its hard to believe self massage really gives the same effect as when it’s done by a therapist? What happened with energy exchange? Its like drinking your own urine.
